The 7525 would be a fairly simple all-in-one inkjet if it weren't for its cloud printing and excellent output quality. Remanufactured high-capacity Photosmart 7525 printer ink is an even smarter choice, as it is often available for half the price of OEM supplies. Most users will want to go for the high-capacity "XL" versions of HP 7525 ink cartridges, though, which more than double the page yield. The standard Photosmart 7525 ink cartridges can provide a yield of up to 300 pages for each color and 250 pages for black. An automatic document feeder is also included, and can hold up to 25 sheets for quick scanning of multi-page documents. This does contribute to the relatively compact design of the 7525, however, as it measures just 8.6x17x17 inches.

The input paper capacity of 125 sheets is an upgrade from some of the smaller units in its line, but could still be a limitation for users who do a lot of daily printing. Strangely, it does not have an ethernet port included, which is probably a cost-cutting measure, considering the majority of home users probably have a wireless network in the house. It can connect via USB port to Windows or Mac computers, but most users will probably opt for Wi-Fi. It can reach a maximum enhanced resolution of 9600x2400 dpi, and expert reviews noted its sharp output quality for both text and photos. Its Wi-Fi connection and cloud printing are excellent, it can print at up to 14 pages per minute, and low-cost HP 7525 printer ink helps to keep operating expenses down.Įven with the ability to scan, copy, and fax, the focus for the 7525 seems to still be on photo printing. The HP Photosmart 7525 all-in-one inkjet has a few missing features, such as an ethernet port, but it gets a lot of things right.
